Refresh your Spanish and take your confidence to the next level!

If you’ve studied Spanish before but feel like some of the more challenging grammar has become a little rusty, our Intermediate 5-Week Refresher Course is the perfect opportunity to revisit key structures and get your Spanish flowing again.

These refresher courses are designed to help you reconnect with what you already know, strengthen your grammar, and develop greater confidence when expressing yourself in Spanish.

What to expect during our fun and engaging Spanish lessons:

  • Using relative clauses with structures such as con el que, con la que, en el que, etc.
  • Refreshing and strengthening your understanding of the subjunctive
  • Understanding the relationship between the indicative and subjunctive
  • Using conditional structures to talk about hypothetical situations and possibilities
  • Revisiting the future tense and using it confidently in conversation
  • Putting these structures into practice through engaging conversations and real-life topics

Our teachers are all native speakers and completely professional in providing you with a safe and welcoming learning environment. You can look forward to personalised feedback at every step of your progress, creating a bespoke and unique experience for all.

Before You Book

What happens if I miss a lesson?

If you miss a class, we may be able to offer you a spot in another group at the same level, running that same week. This depends on availability and can’t always be guaranteed, but we’ll do our best!

You’ll also have access to your group’s lesson record folder, updated by your teacher after each class. It includes notes, activities, and homework, so you can catch up in your own time.

You’ll also have access to Campus Difusión, our digital learning platform, where you can review course content, complete extra exercises, and revise whenever it suits you.
How do I know which level is right for me?

Not sure of your level? Take our Spanish Level Test and see what we'd suggest! Drop us an email if you're unsure.
What if I feel the level is too easy or difficult for me?

If, after the first lesson, you feel you need to move to a different level, get in touch and we'll see what we can do. Depending on availability, we might be able to move you to up or down a level. We can't guarantee that the group you move to will be on the same day of the week as your old group.
What happens if I can't attend the course after booking?

Once you have registered and the course has been confirmed, we are unable to offer refunds for non-participation or non-attendance, for any reason.

However, we require a minimum number of registrations to launch each course of Spanish. Therefore, if we do not reach this minimum number shortly before the scheduled start date, the class will either be postponed (by up to two weeks), or will be cancelled (with a full refund offered). If another group is running at the same level but a different time, this will be offered to you.

I don´t know any language schools where you get such a total immersion in Spanish & Latin-American culture as you get at Battersea Spanish. It's not just the courses but also the numerous social events organised by the school. The teachers are all fantastic and engaging.
