Details

These Flamenco trial lessons are available for learners who wish to try us out before committing to our courses. When you book your trial class you must enter in the booking notes the exact course and date you wish to attend - see available Flamenco courses for more information.

Beginners: For those who are just starting out, have danced Flamenco a long time ago or have good relevant experience with other comparable types of dance.

Elementary: For individuals who have surpassed Beginner level, and are now looking to really spread their Flamenco wings.

Improvers: For strong and committed dancers who are past Elementary level and are on their way to intermediate level - or even higher.

Technique: For students who wish to work specifically on the technical side of flamenco more than choreography - highly recommended for anyone who is serious about trying to improve their overall ability.

Please note that a trial lesson once booked is not transferrable to any other date, and no refunds can be given for non-attendance. Please also note that only 1 trial class per level can be booked.

If you wish to join a course after your trial session, the cost of the trial class will be deducted from the course fees, as well as any lessons you might have already missed. You can therefore try a class and join at any point in the term - subject to your level being sufficient.

Important Notice – we would love you to book with us, but please make sure that you will be free to attend the course/activity you are booking. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund fees paid, in full or in part, or to re-allocate them to another booking or a different date. This condition applies to all our courses and our events, for any reason other than force majeure, or our failure to deliver the course/activity we publicised - in which case you will be refunded in full. Details of our full Terms and Conditions are found on the page prior to checkout– please read them carefully, to avoid any disappointment.

Before you book

What happens if I miss a lesson?

If you miss a class, we may be able to offer you a spot in another group at the same level, running that same week. This depends on availability and can’t always be guaranteed, but we’ll do our best!

How do I know which level is right for me?

Not sure of your level? Drop us an email if you're unsure.

What if I feel the level is too easy or difficult for me?

If, after the first lesson, you feel you need to move to a different level, get in touch and we'll see what we can do. Depending on availability, we might be able to move you to up or down a level. We can't guarantee that the group you move to will be on the same day of the week as your old group.

What happens if I can't attend the course after booking?

Once you have registered and the course has been confirmed, we are unable to offer refunds for non-participation or non-attendance, for any reason.

However, we require a minimum number of registrations to launch each course of Flamenco. Therefore, if we do not reach this minimum number shortly before the scheduled start date, the class will either be postponed (by up to two weeks), or will be cancelled (with a full refund offered). If another group is running at the same level but a different time, this will be offered to you.

What are the Terms and Conditions?

Please read our full Terms and Conditions to avoid any disappointment.

What People Have to Say

I can't speak more highly of Battersea Spanish. I discovered it when I saw their Latin fitness classes advertised and was eager to get fit and tone up. I'm now doing one of their beginners' Spanish classes. You always get a warm welcome at Battersea Spanish whether it's from the teachers and bar staff, other students. It's a really cosy venue with a very supportive environment whether you're dancing or learning Spanish. The language courses are well structured and lots of fun - plenty of opportunities to practice Spanish outside of class too - games, books you can borrow, quiz and film nights, and conversation evenings. It's a place you can easily make new friends - people actually talk to each other and strike up conversations. For me it feels like a home from home.

Beginner Spanish student

Attended such a fun and enjoyable flamenco workshop in the afternoon and then watched an amazing professional show in the evening at this fabulous Spanish cultural centre in Battersea last Saturday. Such a friendly and welcoming place and event. Indulged in delicious tapas and drinks at the onsite restaurant. Already booked for next month's event. Highly recommended.
