Lesson
Details
There will be a 1-week break during our Flamenco Autumn term, from 2nd-8th November. During that period, lessons will be paused.
Our weekly technique classes are new for 2026. They stand outside the normal progression of levels. They are multi-level classes, intended for learners of all levels, excluding those who are complete beginners.
In our shorter technique classes, students will work specifically on the technical side of flamenco more than choreography. They are highly recommended for anybody who is serious about trying to improve their own technique and overall ability.
The levels offered at Battersea Spanish from January 2026 are as follows:
Beginner: For those who are just starting out, have danced Flamenco a long time ago or have good relevant experience with other comparable types of dance.
Elementary: For individuals who have surpassed Beginner level, and are now looking to really spread their Flamenco wings.
Improver: For strong and committed dancers who are past Elementary level and are on their way to intermediate level - or even higher.
Technique: For students who wish to work specifically on the technical side of flamenco more than choreography - highly recommended for anyone who is serious about trying to improve their overall ability.
Level progression: Our students will typically complete each level 3 times on average before moving onto the next level - but you will always continue to learn and polish your moves. Progress is very individual, and the most important thing is to enjoy the process at your own speed of development. Once they know you, our experienced instructors will be able to tell you which level you should book in the future to continue your studies with us.
