This course is the next exciting step on your Spanish journey. By now, you’ve got a solid foundation, and you’re ready to bring your skills to life in conversation, culture, and those little everyday moments that make learning a language feel real.

Whether you're asking for directions in Madrid, describing your flat in a language exchange, or sharing stories over wine at one of our cultural events — this is where your Spanish really starts to flow.

Our full course timetable is dropping soon — but here’s what to expect from our Pre-Intermediate 2 course:

If you’ve completed around 60 hours of Spanish study, and you’re starting to grasp more complex ideas but still need a bit of prompting to speak confidently — you’re in the right place. We’ll build on what you know and guide you through real conversations, grammar skills, and cultural knowledge.

• In these practical classes, you’ll learn to:
• Describe your home and neighbourhood
• Compare things, people, and situations — now and in the past
• Give commands and advice (yes, you can finally tell someone what to do in Spanish 😏)
• Make polite requests and use vocabulary to sound smooth, not robotic
• Narrate life experiences — using the recent past and the more distant past
• Talk about future plans and intentions
• Understand and use direct and indirect object pronouns (so useful in real-life convo!)

At Battersea Spanish, learning doesn’t stop when the lesson ends.

• Grab a glass of Spanish wine or beer from our on-site bar before or after class
• Share some great Tapas with your classmates (Wed-Fri only)
• Join our social Spanish events, tango, salsa & flamenco classes, or amazing Flamenco shows
• Watch Spanish-language films at our regular cinema club
• Play games like Scrabble en español or “¿Quién es quién?” with other learners
• Practice in real life, not just in your textbook

• You can purchase your own copy for home use, or use our shared classroom copies during lessons.
• Certificate: Students who complete the course receive a Certificate of Completion outlining the level achieved.

Please make sure that you will be free to attend the course on the dates advertised before you register. Once your booking is confirmed, we are unfortunately not able to refund fees paid, in full or in part, or to re-allocate them to another booking at a later date.

This condition applies to all our courses and events and for all reasons except force majeure or our failure to deliver the course/activity as publicised — in which case, you’ll be refunded in full.
