You’ve made it past the beginner phase — now the real fun begins.

This course is your next step towards real fluency, deeper conversations, and fully enjoying everything Battersea Spanish has to offer — from our cultural events to chats at the bar en español.

Our full course timetable is dropping soon — but here’s what to expect from our Pre-Intermediate 1 course:

• Consolidate beginner skills so they become second nature
• Refer to personal experiences and express how they made you feel
• Give advice, share opinions, and express preferences
• Talk about your biography and that of others (including famous people!)
• Use both regular and irregular past tenses, including pretérito indefinido
• Describe relationships, personalities, and physical features

Each lesson is a mix of grammar, speaking, listening, and culture — and you’ll be talking a lot more, with a lot more confidence.

🥂 Not just a class... an experience

At Battersea Spanish, learning doesn’t stop when the lesson ends.

• Grab a glass of Spanish wine or beer from our on-site bar before or after class
• Share some great Tapas with your classmates (Wed-Fri only)
• Join our social Spanish events, tango, salsa & flamenco classes, or amazing Flamenco shows
• Watch Spanish-language films at our regular cinema club
• Play games like Scrabble en español or “¿Quién es quién?” with other learners
• Practice in real life, not just in your textbook

• Teacher: Native Spanish speaker
• Textbook: Aula Internacional Plus 2 (ISBN: 978-8418224164)
• You can purchase your own copy for home use, or use our shared classroom copies during lessons.
• Certificate: Students who complete the course receive a Certificate of Completion outlining the level achieved.

Please make sure that you will be free to attend the course on the dates advertised before you register. Once your booking is confirmed, we are unfortunately not able to refund fees paid, in full or in part, or to re-allocate them to another booking at a later date.

This condition applies to all our courses and events and for all reasons except force majeure or our failure to deliver the course/activity as publicised — in which case, you’ll be refunded in full.
