FRIDAY NIGHT IS SALSA NIGHT!

FREE Salsa Taster - 19:00-19:30

Our Salsa Taster sessions are short introductions with an instructor, intended for those who have never tried Salsa before and want to try it out without making any commitment. Come and find out why so many people become salsa enthusiasts! Take advantage of this free taster session to decide if you then want to enrol in our later class!

There is no requirement to book our taster session in advance, and you are welcome to come alone or with friends and/or partners.

Beginners class - 19:30-20:30 - £15

Our Friday night Salsa class offers a lively and fun pathway to enjoy this wonderful dance which has taken the world by storm! Our first Friday night class is designed for those who want to master the basics or acquire some more advanced skills, and have fun doing so in a relaxed and friendly environment. Either book here in advance (let us know in the booking notes if you are attending Beginners or Improvers), or pay at the bar on the night.

NEW Improvers class - 20:30-21:30 - £15

Not a beginner anymore? Time to level up, and take our Improvers class. Put those skills to practice with more complex steps and rhythms, and challenge yourself with likeminded Salsa aficionados. Either book here in advance (let us know in the booking notes if you are attending Beginners or Improvers), or pay at the bar on the night.

Social Salsa - 21:30-22:30 - FREE

After the classes have finished on Friday, you can then put into practice everything you have learnt in class by staying on for our FREE social salsa, and dance with friends old and new. Social salsa takes place in our in-house Spanish bar, La Bodega and runs till the bar closes. Everyone over 18 is welcome, whatever their level, either to have a drink and watch, or to get up and practice those moves!. Our instructor will be present at the beginning to get people dancing, make introductions and help complete beginners learn the basics, and we will be running an awesome playlist all night containing a mixture of salsa, bachata and other Latin rhythms.

My name is Madeleine and I love to spread my positive dance energy in my classes and to engage everyone in just simply having a great time, and enjoying dance as much as I do!

Having gained my BA in Switzerland and my Master’s Degree of Arts at the Royal College of Art in London, I began to dance Salsa and from there explored further into other Latin American Dances. I gained my teaching dance diploma in 2011, and have been teaching and performing with the Salsacubana Cabaret Show in London ever since. I am also a a qualified Zumba instructor, and speak English, Spanish, German and French.

How do I enrol?

So simple - just add the event to your basket and proceed to check out!

Payment Options and How it Works

1/ Our dance classes, including Salsa, can all be booked individually each week, allowing the maximum of flexibility and last-minute bookings. Simply add to basket ,and proceed to checkout.

Can I attend a different class, if I book a drop in ticket online but then am unable to attend?

If you have paid for a drop-in ticket in advance, and then contact us before the day of the class to inform us you will not be coming, we will move your Salsa class booking to the following week, or to another dance class in the following week if there is space for you. Please note that we can only do this if you contact us BEFORE the class you booked for. No refunds can be given for no-shows, where you do not attend classes that you booked.

What happens if the instructor is ill or the class is cancelled?

If we have to cancel a class for any reason, an extra class will be provided free of charge, or you can have a refund for the cancelled class. There are no classes on bank holidays. No replacement classes will be provided if the free social salsa session is unavoidably cancelled.

We do not have showers or dedicated changing facilities - but we do have La Bodega, our very own Latin wine and Tapas bar on site, which serves Spanish and Latin American drinks and Tapas, Wednesday to Friday - why not join us for a tasty drink or bite to eat before or after your class?
