Online private lessons

These classes offer the maximum in flexibility, and allow our fabulous teachers to personalise a programme just for you! They are ideal for those who cannot attend our group classes in Battersea for any reason, and are all taught by the wonderful group of teachers who have taught at the school.

Private lessons can be at any level from beginner (A1) to advanced (C2) , and can focus on any particular learning preferences or personal interests that you have. This ensures that all lessons are as relevant as possible to you - this is one of the biggest success factors in learning a language quickly!

Private lessons offered with Battersea Spanish teachers are all delivered online, to ensure we can provide the greatest flexibility in scheduling lessons at a time that is convenient to you (and also because most evenings all our classrooms are booked out for our group courses in Battersea!). Our teachers will fit your preferred times into their schedules as much as possible - but please understand thay all have many other regular commitments as well as teaching our group courses, so it is always a matter of compromise to find a timetable that works for both parties.

Once you have agreed a provisional weekly schedule, and paid for a block of hours, your lessons can start. iI is then perfectly possible for some classes to be re-arranged between you and your designated teacher without any additional cost - but this is a matter between you and the teacher, and we can only guarantee their availability for the times they have originally reserved for you . You need to give us 24 hrs advance notice (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to cancel or reschedule a lesson, otherwise it will be treated as being taken and deducted from your remaining hours..

How to Book:

Please contact us to discuss your preferred times and reason for study. We will then try and match this with the availability of our teachers. Once agreed we will send you a payment link for the initial block of hours. The minimum booking for online private lessons is for 12 hrs of tuition, which is taken in 8 lessons of 1.5 hours each, and must be paid in advance. Most people take 1 class per week - but if you would like more, let us know and our teachers will try to fit in! You will have a fixed period of 10 weeks in order to complete each block of 8 lessons, giving you some contingency for other work and personal commitments that might pop up. Lessons can start at any time of the year, but are not available on Sundays or bank holidays. The cost of online 1:1 lessons is GBP 38.00 + VAT per hour (GBP 456 + VAT for a block of 12 hours).

For face to face private lessons

If you want your private lessons to be face to face rather than online, our parent company Professional Language Solutions Ltd can provide a tailor-made quotation for you. The prices will be different from our online private lessons, and will depend primarily on where you want the lessons to take place (your home, place of work, other location etc) and at what times.

Terms & Conditions

Before paying for your classes, please be aware of the following terms and conditions:

• Payment for the agreed block of lessons will be in advance, and must be made at least 3 working days prior to the first lesson. We cannot accept pay as you go, or in-arrears payments.
• For the protection of the teachers, a timescale to complete all the sessions booked will be agreed with you at the time of booking. We allow a grace period of 2 weeks. For example, 10 weeks to complete 8 classes. Lessons not taken by the termination date are considered to be consumed, and cannot be reimbursed.
• With more than 24-hrs notice (excluding Sat/Sun and bank holidays) you can re-arrange scheduled lessons for another time your teacher is available.
• No-shows, or lessons cancelled with less than 24-hours notice (excluding Sat/Sun and bank holidays) will be counted as taken and will not be refunded or replaced.
• Any rearrangement of time or teaching venue should be made directly with the teacher, and is subject to their confirmation.
