Welcome to the next level and well done on making it this far! Although you may still need significant prompting when speaking, at this stage in your studies, you should be able to thoroughly understand and speak the Spanish language. This Pre-Intermediate 1 (A2.1) Spanish course in London is designed for those students with an average of 45 hours of past study.

• to consolidate the skills acquired in the beginner levels
• to refer to experiences in your life and express feelings
• to give advice and express your opinions
• to talk about your biography and that of others, such as famous people (years and dates)
• to consolidate past tense regular and irregular verbs, as well as the indefinite past
• to talk about relationships and describe people

Courses Use the Aula Internacional Plus Series

The course follows the Aula Internacional Plus book series. You can purchase Aula Internacional Plus 2 (ISBN: 978-8418224669) if you would like a copy to use at home, or make use of our on-site copies for reference during lessons.

What happens if I miss a lesson?

If you miss a class, we may be able to offer you a spot in another group at the same level, running that same week. This depends on availability and can’t always be guaranteed, but we’ll do our best!

You’ll also have access to your group’s lesson record folder, updated by your teacher after each class. It includes notes, activities, and homework, so you can catch up in your own time.

You’ll also have access to Campus Difusión, our digital learning platform, where you can review course content, complete extra exercises, and revise whenever it suits you.

Can I still follow the course if I know I’ll miss a couple of lessons?

Yes, missing one or two sessions is not a problem. As long as you attend at least 80% of the course, you’ll receive a certificate of completion. You’ll be able to catch up independently using the lesson record folder and Campus Difusión resources.

What if I feel the group is too fast or too slow for me?

If you feel you're not progressing at the same pace as your classmates, or you're unsure whether the group level is right for you, please speak to us as soon as possible. Our Spanish Manager will arrange a quick chat to see how we can support you, whether that’s advice, extra resources, or (if available) changing group.

Can I join after the course has already started?

It depends on the course and your level. Please get in touch and we’ll advise you on the best option.

Where can I find the curriculum?

We’ll share a folder with you at the start of your course, which includes:

• A course curriculum (what’s covered across the 10 weeks)
• Access to Campus Difusion platform 24/7
• A lesson record, completed by your teacher after every session

This gives you full visibility of what’s been taught and what’s coming up, perfect if you ever miss a class or want to review topics.

Will I get a certificate?

Yes, students who attend at least 80% of the sessions will receive a certificate at the end of the course.

Terms and Conditions

Legal Stuff

· You enter into a commercial contract with us when you register online and pay the course fees

· Provided you book more than 2 weeks ahead of your course start date, we offer a “cooling-off period” of 1 week. During this period, you can change your mind for any reason, with a no-quibble, money-back guarantee, subject to an administration fee of GBP 15.00

· There is no “cooling off period” if you book less than 7 days before the scheduled start date

Choosing the right level

· Before booking, please take our online level test to ensure you select a course at the right level.

· If you have done our online test and are still unsure, we can arrange a phone consultation.

· Once our courses start, there is no guarantee you will be able to move from one level to another, although we will try and do so if there is a big difference between you and the rest of the class.

Refunds/Cancellations/deferrals

· Provided you inform us more than 2 weeks ahead of your course start date, we can credit a payment you have made to a course on a different day or different time (in the same term), subject to an administration fee of GBP 15.00.

· From 1 week before a course is due to start, and throughout the course, no refunds or credits (for either single lessons or the whole term) are possible for non-attendance by you, for any reason apart from Force Majeure.

· This means no refunds or credits will be given for change of personal circumstances, work commitments, sickness, bad weather, strikes, transport issues, or similar.

· We need a minimum number of enrolments for each course to run. If the course you booked does not run, we will refund your payment in full, or you can transfer to another course at no cost.

· If we have to cancel an individual lesson, we will provide an alternative date or refund the value of the lesson.
