Tablao, Saraos and Colmao
A flamenco show with Natalia Garcia-Huidobro, Lourdes Fernandez and friends
Tablao, Saraos and Colmao proposes a distinctive way of approaching and journeying through the musical imagination of flamenco, guided by the women of flamenco—artists who, throughout history, have shaped a captivating world rich in personality and style.
Tablao, Saraos and Colmao delves into the roots of flamenco while also confronting and reinterpreting them. The piece travels through different rhythms, reviving the universe of the cafés cantantes through the perspective of the time we live in today.
Two bailaoras on stage, a cantaora, and a guitarist bring this tablao to life.
This event is part of the Flamenco Salon Series, that brings hand picked performances from amongst Spain's leading flamenco artists to an intimate audience keen to appreciate the best of Flamenco in London.

Notes on venue and seating arrangements
The show is performed in our ground-floor Performance Studio. This space has hosted numerous famous Flamenco artists from both the UK and Spain over the last 6 years. The studio provides a small, extremely intimate venue, where you are only a few feet away from the performers. There is a capacity of 55 people. The room has a professional sound system and stage lighting. No food allowed in the studio.
As this is a multi-use performance space there is no raised stage, nor tiered seating. Simple chairs are laid out on the day to best suit the number who have booked to attend. The arrangement is usually in a U shape around the artists who perform in the central space, providing views from 3 directions..
Seats are not numbered or pre-allocated. We can only reserve seating on the front rows for those who notify us in advance that they have a disability or special access requirement Once we open the doors to the Studio, the audience enters in a line and everybody finds their preferred seat from those available. Please, however, be sympathetic to those with the greatest need to have a seat of their choice.
Coats and bags can be left in a temporary cloakroom upstairs, but note this room is not secure or monitored during the show, and valuables should not be left there.
Have a drink too!
