Why Learn Argentine Tango?
Argentine tango is the most popular social dance in the history of mankind. The reason is simple: anybody can do it, everybody enjoys it.
We teach the fundamental principles you need to create your own dance and to improvise, the underlying principle of the dance. Solid instruction around embrace, choreographic elements, techniques, body awareness and connection with the partner. Special attention is paid towards the subtleties of the music and enjoyment of the dance.
Emma Lucia Reyes – choreographer, artist and tango dance instructor. Her choreographed works have been shown at Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Church Stretton Arts Festival, Wandsworth Fringe Festival and the Latin American Business Awards. Trained in classical ballet from an early age and later flamenco and contemporary dance she discovered Tango in Buenos Aires and has never looked back. She now performs and teaches tango in the U.K and abroad.
Her approach to teaching is to enable her students to think through their bodies, exploring movement and dynamics that build an intuitive understanding of the dance. She loves nothing more than to share her passion for the improvisational element within tango and help students create their own unique dance. Special attention is paid to the subtleties of connection in the embrace and expression of the music which can produce healing benefits for social dancers.

Davide Baldanza started studying music and dance, from an early age. His activity as part of the Argentine Tango, leads him to teach permanently in various cities of Italy and Europe (Milan, Naples, Sofia, Thessaloniki, Vienna, and many others). Alongside this, he works on performative activities in events in Europe and outside of Europe (Auroville, Holy Tango Festival, India). His approach is based on a deep knowledge of the two main aspects of Argentine Tango: a deep knowledge of music, and a deep knowledge of biomechanics. Davide also makes video clips of artists such as Tonino Carotone, and the El Cachivache orchestra.
