Thinking of learning Spanish but not sure which course is right for you? In this blog post, we’ll be giving you a breakdown of all our courses so you can decide which course is best for you. ¡Es fácil! (It’s simple and easy!)
Beginner 1 Spanish
Our Beginner 1 Spanish course is designed for anyone who has no prior experience or just know a few simple Spanish phrases. This course will include 15 hours of study across 10 weeks with our wonderful Spanish teachers. In these lessons, you will be able to introduce yourself, open a conversation, ask and answer basic questions and describe professions, physical and personality traits of people and family.
Beginner 2 Spanish
Our Beginner 2 Spanish course is great for those who have had around 15 hours of Spanish study and can perform in highly controlled circumstances. This course will include 15 hours of study across 10 weeks with our wonderful Spanish teachers. In our second set of Spanish courses, you will build on your basic foundation learning new situations, for example, talking about basic daily routines, travel vocabulary and how to introduce others.
Beginner 3 Spanish
Our Beginner 3 Spanish course is perfect for students who have had around 30 hours of Spanish study. At this stage in your studies, you are already able to speak and understand language basics, with this course you can progress your learnings building upon expressing your likes and dislikes, opinions, basic daily routines and more.
You will have 15 hours of study across 10 weeks with our Spanish teachers.
If you’re a bit more familiar with español and are able to understand/speak the basics, our Pre-intermediate Spanish Courses in London will be great for you! Through building upon the knowledge you’ve already learnt in the Beginner Spanish Courses and finessing any weaknesses we can make you feel like a Spanish linguist. We have 3 different sets of Beginner Spanish Courses, with each course building upon what you’ve previously learnt with us.
Pre-Intermediate 1 Spanish
Our Pre-Intermediate 1 Spanish course is ideal for those who have had around 45 hours of Spanish study. This course will include 15 hours of study across 10 weeks with our Spanish teachers. In these courses, you will build on your prior knowledge learning how to incorporate the past tense into your speaking, for example, talking about recent past events, previous travel experiences, as well as being able to talk about your biography and so on.
Pre-Intermediate 2 Spanish
It is suggested that you have had around 60 hours of prior study before signing up to for our Pre-Intermediate 2 Spanish course. Furthermore, ideal students for this course may still need prompting when speaking but can understand and speak the language well. This course will include 15 hours of study across 10 weeks with our Spanish teachers. In these courses, you will learn how to narrate recent past events vs. distant past events, how to advise commands in positive and negative constructions, be able to better understand the direct and indirect object pronouns and so much more.
Pre-Intermediate 3 Spanish
Our Pre-Intermediate 3 Spanish course is great for those who have had around 75 hours of Spanish study. This course will include 15 hours of study across 10 weeks with our Spanish teachers. In these courses, you will deepen your understanding of the combined use of all past tenses, describe a situation in the past, hypothesise the future, express prohibition, permission and obligation etcetera.
Our Intermediate Spanish Courses in London focuses on refining your grammar, expanding your vocabulary and getting to know those tricky subjunctives! So feel ready to put your novice days far behind you as you’ll soon become a Spanish pro. Similar to our Beginner Spanish Courses and Pre-Intermediate Courses we have 3 different sets of Intermediate Courses, with each course building upon what you’ve previously learnt with us:
Intermediate 1 Spanish
Our Intermediate 1 Spanish course is suitable for anyone who has had 90 hours of previous Spanish study. This course will include 15 hours of study across 10 weeks with our wonderful Spanish teachers. In these lessons, you will come into grips with using all past tenses, the subjunctive to express wishes or opinions, conditionals in the past and present tense and more.
Intermediate 2 Spanish
Our Intermediate 2 Spanish course is ideal for anyone who has had over 100 hours of previous Spanish study. This course will include 15 hours of study across 10 weeks with our wonderful Spanish teachers. In these lessons, you will be able to use the subjunctive with indefinite relative referents and to express doubts and judgements, use indirect style speech, use relative clauses and so on.
Intermediate 3 Spanish
Our Intermediate 3 Spanish course is perfect for anyone who has had around 120 hours of previous Spanish study. This course will include 15 hours of study across 10 weeks with our wonderful Spanish teachers. These lessons will let you perfect your knowledge in all things subjunctive, conditionality, tenses and more.
Upper-Intermediate Spanish Course
Our Upper-Intermediate Spanish course are for those of you who have completed the B1 level of Spanish and are ready to start their B2 journey (the pre-fluency stage).
In this course, you will be able to hold your own in debate-like situations and work towards a stronger level of fluency to express your ideas and thoughts. We will also incorporate real-life inputs such as music, news, film to deepen your knowledge to get you one step closer to becoming Spanish pro.
Spanish Conversation Courses
In Autumn 2019, we will have standard conversation courses for both Intermediate and Advanced levels. Each of these courses will span 10 weeks with each lesson lasting 75 minutes and are designed for students who are able to speak Spanish at a fluent level. Remember to
During the Intermediate Spanish Conversation course, you will be able to fine-tune your vocabulary, fluency and debate skills through practice with your fellow students and native teachers. In class, we will also be incorporating out-sourced media such as films, news, films or music to develop your understanding of the language confidently and in a natural manner.
Once you’ve completed our Intermediate Spanish Conversation Course, you will be able to take your skills that one step further by signing up to our Advanced Spanish Conversation course.
Catch Up Lessons
We understand how busy your lives can be, which is why we have added catch up lessons to our teaching classes so we can suit your needs. So, don’t worry if you can’t attend because of a holiday or work trip, you can sign up to our catch up course instead (so long as you are enrolled in a Spanish course at your time of booking)!
