If you love good food and good films you can’t miss our monthly Tapas & Film events! Every month we will screen an amazing Spanish or Latin American film (with English subtitles, no worries!) and you will be able to match it with the delicious food and drinks of our in house tapas bar The Tapas Room. The Tapas Room is one of London’s best tapas restaurants, with 5 locations across town.
How does this work?
The film event happens between 7pm and 9:30pm, so you can either eat and drink before the film, or after the film.
You can secure your booking at The Tapas Room here (please note that the food and drinks are no included in the ticket price).
And of course make sure to book your film ticket right away as this is a very popular event and it will sell out quickly!
About this month’s film:
Diarios de motocicleta is a beautifully wrought account of the dawning of the social conscience of one of the 20th century’s most romanticised revolutionaries. Director Walter Salles’ best film to date reveals how an eight-month trip through South America in 1952 opened the eyes of 23-year-old upper-middle-class Argentinean med student Ernesto Guevara, who a few years later emerged as the charismatic Che. Based on the books of Guevara and traveling companion Alberto Granado, this intelligently made picture is artful but not arty, political without being didactic. If you have missed travelling Latin America, this will cure you for a bit!
If you are a Battersea Spanish member, don’t forget to apply your member discount when booking.
