Come to La Unit one Friday a month to have a memorable and unique film experience. We will be waiting for you with delicious food matching the country of the film, refreshing drinks, and delicious popcorn on the house to enjoy a cinematic experience in the heart of Battersea.
This April 13th come see “El secreto de sus ojos”, winner of the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 2010. Esposito (Ricardo Darín), is a retired Buenos Aires prosecutor who reopens a cold case from his past: the rape and murder of a young woman in 1974, a case that poisoned his career and his life. Discover the truth of this case in this dark and entrancing thriller!
We will immerse you in Argentinian culture so indulge your senses with food and drink! We will enjoy delicious Argentinean empanadas before the film in our beautiful garden area, and sip drinks from a latin bar (drinks sold separately). Please specify your dietary requirements when ordering so we can cater to your needs.
The flow of the night:
– Doors open 7pm
– Argentinean empanadas will be served between 7-8pm
– Film introduction at 7.40pm
– Film will start 8pm (there will be a 15 minute intermission in the middle of the film)
– The screening will end near 10.30pm (depending the length of the film) but we welcome you to stay in our lovely garden to exchange impressions and get to know the lovely people who come to our events.
The films all have English subtitles, so everyone can join!
