Event Description

Have you ever been in an amazing concert dying to ask the artists: How do you do this? Where does this come from? What does it mean when you do this or that? We bet you have, many times!

Flamenco is one the most beautiful and intricate types of music, so for those of you who love flamenco, this is a one-off dreamed event where you get to ask all those questions and more.

The virtuoso flamenco concertist Manuel Montero, winner of 8 international prices, shares a unique evening with all guitar and music lovers in a unique performance where he will play his incredible and eclectic repertoire like in his usual concerts (consisting of his own compositions, as well as those of flamenco guitar masters), and will allow the audience to participate and engage with him directly by talking, asking or sharing any interests that might come into mind while enjoying his delightful music.

This is a 1 hour interactive concert designed for flamenco enthusiasts, dancers, musicians, or anyone simply curious about the art  of flamenco guitar.

You will be able to buy at the end of the concert signed copies of Manuel’s books and discs.

Seats will book very fast, so secure yours now to avoid disappointment.

The flow of the event:
7:30pm: doors open
8:00pm: show starts
(the show runs for approximately 60 minutes with no intermission).

The artist:

Manuel Montero – Guitar
Professional flamenco and classical guitarist, his work as a musical director, composer, and arranger has led him to perform in more than 20 countries within diverse projects ranging from flamenco, in its variety of expressions, to Latin American music, electronic music, classical music, world music and jazz among others. He has been recognised with 8 international prizes as a guitarist and composer. Originally from Costa Rica, Manuel has lived in Seville, Spain during the last 18 years.
“In Manuel Montero we find flamenco, elegance, a remarkable technique, and a total mastery of the classic Spanish guitar, allowing him to be perfectly compared with Sanlúcar, Riqueni, Vicente Amigo, and even if it could be thought as a blasphemy to compare him with the greatest maestro Paco de Lucía, his influences are undoubted, especially in his virtuoso technique and his outstanding elegance” Jondoweb
You can explore more about him here.
