Event Description

Straight from Spain, 4 of the leading flamenco dancers and musicians of the moment come together in an intimate and one-off event to recreate the power and magic that only a Tablao Flamenco can deliver. This will be the only appearance in London of these incredible artists that are defining the Flamenco scene in Spain now. Spaces are exclusive and very limited, so make sure to secure yours today!

This event is part of our Flamenco Salon Series, that brings hand picked Flamenco or Flamenco inspired pieces, conversations, installations, to an intimate audience keen to appreciate the best of Flamenco in London.

The flow of the event:
7:00pm: doors open
7:30pm: show starts
(the show runs for approximately 70 minutes with an intermission of 30 minutes).

The artists:

Alejandra Gudí – Dance
Born in Almería Spain, and winner of the National Prize por Alegrías La Perla de Cádiz in 2018, Alejandra has danced in some of the most renown dance companies in Spain and abroad; including Compañía de Antonio el Pipa, Compañía flamenca de Carmen Cortés, Ballet de Rafael Aguilar, Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía and Compañía Rafaela Carrasco. She is also a regular dancer in some of the most prestigious tablaos in Madrid, such as Corral de la Morería , Corral de la Pacheca, Casa Patas, Villa Rosa, Café de Chinitas, Las Tablas , Torres Bermejas, Las Carboneras,  and Teatro Flamenco Madrid, amongst others.
She is a guest lecturer in the specialty of Flamenco Dance at Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Avila in Madrid.
Currently she is developing the show “20” with José Porcel, and is also immersed in the new show of Rafaela Carrasco, “Nocturna”.


Pablo Egea – Dance
Dancer, choreographer and master of Flamenco and Danza española, Pablo has been recently awarded with the Primer Premio del Concurso de Baile Homenaje a Antonio Ruiz
Soler of la Peña Flamenca Torres Macarena in Seville. He has danced in the Ballet Nacional de España, the Ballet Español de Murcia and in the VII and VIII edition of the Festival
Internacional de Danza Ibérica Contemporánea in Querétaro México. He has also choreographed for the Ballet Español de Cuba. In 2019 he debuts in London’s West End as first dancer in the show Heart Beat of Home, produced by Riverdance. That year he received the Lukas (Latin Uk Awards) as outstanding dancer of the year.
He has danced in the best tablaos in Seville (Flamenquería, la Peña Torres Macarena), Madrid (Café Ziryab) and Mexico (Hojas de Té).

Elena Morales – Cante
Born in Córdoba Spain, Elena’s artistic incursion begins at the age of 10, with flamenco dancing. She graduates as a Danza Española dancer, and it is not until 2004 that she takes her first steps as a flamenco singer, with a series of artistic collaborations across all of all Spain. In 2005 she studied in the Fundación de Arte Flamenco Cristina Heeren in Seville, and is currently studying the Grado Superior de Cante Flamenco in the Conservatorio Rafael Orozco in Córdoba, after having completed the Professional Degree in Cante Flamenco.
She has been a regular collaborator with some of the great names in flamenco, including José Mercé.
She works regularly in the main tablaos in Seville, Barcelona and Madrid.

Liam Howarth – Guitar
Liam Howarth is an award-winning guitarist who has been based in Seville, Spain since 2010. He has performed extensively in Europe, America, Russia and Asia. His work in dance and singing accompaniment has led him to work in emblematic tablaos, peñas and festivals around Spain, where he has shared the stage with such artists as Rafael Campallo, El Oruco, Saray de los Reyes, la Piñona, El Choro, Juan José Amador, el Pulga, Pepe de Pura and many more.
In addition, he has extensive experience as a musical director, working on a wide range of projects ranging from traditional flamenco with music dating back to the early 20th century (¡Viva el Cafe Cantante! Directed by Jose Luis Navarro), to more contemporary-leaning projects (No Frills and In Body by Dotdotdot Dance) all the way to Disney adaptations of flamenco (Cenicienta Flamenca at the Centre Temps Choisi in Charleroi, Belgium).
His professional flamenco studies began at the Fundación Cristina Heeren, where he studied under Niño de Pura and Pedro Sierra. Later, he further perfected his training with Manuel Parrilla, Antonio Rey, Dani de Morón and Eduardo Trassierra.
