Course Description
These monthly Special Flamenco workshops are taught from our studios in Battersea by experts teachers. In this occasion the workshop is open to flamenco learners of Improver / Intermediate level (high L1, L2 and L3 on our program).
We highly recommend that you book a seat as soon as you can in order to avoid disappointment, as our courses fill up very fast!

About the workshop:
Tangos
This dance workshop with Alejandra Gudí, guest teacher coming from Spain for this occasion, will immerse you in the practice and understanding of the palo Flamenco of Tangos. Technique, footwork and body posture will be worked at the beginning of this workshop, an all the elements will be later on put into a choreography, working with the structure (llamada, letra, falseta, escobilla).

Alejandra Gudí

Flamenco Artist
Born in Almería Spain, and winner of the National Prize por Alegrías La Perla de Cádiz in 2018, Alejandra has danced in some of the most renown dance companies in Spain and abroad; including Compañía de Antonio el Pipa, Compañía flamenca de Carmen Cortés, Ballet de Rafael Aguilar, and Compañía Rafaela Carrasco. She is also a regular dancer in some of the most prestigious tablaos in Madrid, such as Corral de la Morería , Corral de la Pacheca, Casa Patas, Villa Rosa, Café de Chinitas, Las Tablas , Torres Bermejas, Las Carboneras, and Teatro Flamenco Madrid, amongst others. She is a guest lecturer in the specialty of Flamenco Dance at Conservatorio Superior de Danza María de Avila in Madrid. Currently she is developing the show “20” with José Porcel, and is also immersed in the new show of Rafaela Carrasco, “Nocturna”.Location
