This Spanish short course is perfect for students who have completed Pre-Intermediate 1 and Pre-Intermediate 2 courses (lower A2) and wish to practice their oral fluency and learn new and useful vocabulary in a very fun and interactive way!
In these 4 sessions, students will read a Spanish book adapted to their level where they follow the entertaining adventures of Lola Lago, a unique Spanish detective. Every week a number of small chapters will be assigned to be read at home, and the time in class will de dedicated to explore and expand this material, guaranteeing that you always have something to say in class!
The book we will read for this course is called "Lola Lago: Vacaciones al Sol", and it is included in your course fee.
There are 4 weeks of 90 minute Spanish lessons in this course.
This course will be taught online using the learning platform Zoom (you need a good internet connection and a computer with camera). A link will be sent for you to join the virtual classroom. It's all very easy, and the good news is that you can join us from anywhere in the world! (the course time is London time).

María de la O Garrido¡Hola! My name is María and I come from one of the capital cities in Andalusia, Jaén, paraíso interior! I have been enjoying teaching Spanish since I moved to England, first in beautiful Cornwall, now in London. I graduated from the Spanish Language Teaching to Adults Program from Instituto Cervantes and the University of Roehampton in London, and have been gaining experience as a Spanish teacher for children and adults in a variety of settings. I am also a contemporary artist whose work is multidisciplinary and includes sculpture and photography and has a strong influence from literature. In my artistic practice, there is an emphasis in the educational field, developed through workshops and exhibitions. I studied a BA in Fine Arts in Valencia and spent my last year in Guadalajara, Mexico. I also have an MA in Contemporary Photography; Practices and Philosophies from Central Saint Martins London.
