+Why Battersea Spanish?
We offer you highly qualified and passionate teachers who teach Spanish in small groups – giving you personalised attention. To prepare you for each class, and make sure you stay on track, we have a 24/7 Spanish learning platform to access and share resources, as well as video tutorials and online exercises. To make the Spanish learning experience more fun and immersive, you will also have the opportunity to join amazing events including an ever growing offer of events in film, literature, music & dance, gastro, travel and more!
+How can I get a course discount?
Refer friends - Every time you refer a friend to a full course, both you and your friend receive a coupon for 10% off your next course. So invite as many as you can because it adds up.
+What do I need to bring?
We will provide all the course materials, but it would be a good idea to bring a notepad and a dictionary!
+What about materials?
We create our own materials, which are inspired by the best available teaching resources. This allows us to tailor our content and to always improve our offer. All of our materials are engaging and interactive, combining inputs such as role plays, vocabulary cards, videos, audios, and real life resources.
+How big are the groups?
In order to ensure learning quality and more opportunities for students to participate, our courses are of never more than ten students, typically seven.
+Who are the teachers?
All teachers at Battersea Spanish are passionate native speakers with lots of years of experience and postgraduate studies in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
+Who will be my classmates?
All lovely professionals ranging from 20 to 70+ years old, passionate about Spanish, most of them residents of South West London.
+Are the classes more geared towards speaking or writing?
Our lessons are more geared towards speaking, as this is the most important skill you will need when travelling or relating to native Spanish speakers. We assign homework that involves writing, so this skill is also addressed.
+How can you help me figure out my level?
Our
online Spanish level test is quite accurate, so just take the test and it should place you accordingly. If in the end the class is not the right fit, we will transfer you to the course that matches your level, or work together on finding the best-tailored solution.
+What happens if I miss a class? Can I change days of the week?
Don't worry, if you miss a class, all the materials will be uploaded to our online educational platform and you can keep up to speed. It is an option to change days as long as your course is offered at different times during the week. This should, however, be discussed and arranged on a case by case basis.
+What are your terms for payments and refunds?
The full tuition should be payed before the beginning of the course.
We cannot offer refunds, though we will try our best to accommodate schedule changes should availability permit.
+Do I get a certificate in the end?
While we believe that language learning is more of a journey than a destination, if you find yourself requiring proof of achievement, we are happy to issue a certificate.
