Miguel Garcia

Ever since I was a child in Murcia (Spain), I have always been passionate about languages, literature and culture. I studied English at the University of Murcia and the University of Leeds, and afterwards moved to the US to do a Master’s in Spanish literature and Teaching Modern Languages. I returned to London to study a PhD at Royal Holloway on the works of Federico García Lorca, and I currently do research on Spanish literature and cinema, especially on the films of Pedro Almodóvar and new contemporary Spanish filmmakers. I am also an avid writer of poetry and fiction in Spanish and English. Being a Spanish teacher allows me to share my heritage and passions with students while providing a fun and enriching experience. Stick with me and you might get to try some delicious Spanish tortilla!
