Spanish for Beginners aka Beginner 1 is perfect for those with no prior skills, or perhaps just a few clever Spanish phrases… During these Spanish lessons you will learn:

  • to introduce yourself
  • to greet and open conversations in Spanish
  • to ask and answer basic questions (phone number, email, hobbies, nationality, etc)
  • to describe professions, physical and personality traits of people and family
  • to acquire information in class

This Spanish course spans 15 hours of Spanish study in 10 weeks.

It covers A1.1 in the Common European Framework. See the entire curriculum here to know what comes next!

Learning Spanish in London obviously takes longer than if you were to study abroad, so be sure to supplement your courses with any one of our events that will help you to learn the language and love the culture!

Tania Gutiérrez

As a child I was always playing teacher and student. Now, as an adult, that play has developed into a full blown passion for teaching. My profound knowledge of Spanish language, acquired in my Spanish Language and Literature Degree and in my Spanish Teaching Masters at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and my love of reading together with that passion have helped me become a strong and dynamic Spanish teacher. My love of the language is inextricably linked to Hispanic culture, in which I specialised during my degree. I am a very active person, always wanting to learn more and share interests and experiences. If you want to learn Spanish and lots about Hispanic literature, music, movies, theatre, food, art, etc. nos vemos pronto!
